India Acevedo opinion on Verse 1 Samuel 4.6 Hearing The Uproa
Regarding to my opinion the Philistines are in need to get answer for their question. That was asking the reason of the shouting from the Hebrew camp. Although the reason was the existence of the ark of the lord in the Hebrew camp but the Philistines doesn't know about that anything. So through this article I have understand that what is wonderful for some groups is nothing for others.
The Hebrew focused only on the ark of the lord and they didn't worry about the shout they didn't notice and also they thought only what was wonderful for themselves. That was the coming of the ark of the lord which is their everything. But for the Philistines the ark of the lord is something that has no power on the life of human beings and it is nothing for them. Their full concentration was on the sound that came from the Hebrew camp.
Although I have a religious belief, my knowledge is too little to give an opinion on articles such like this. But it is clear for everybody who is matured and have some notable understanding about human and world. That is our attention is always taken to what our mind needs. Within this article the Hebrew mind was thinking about the ark the lord. It was due to that the ark of the lord is powerful and it protects them from bad things. They believe that the ark was given to them from their god. That is why they shouted when they heard the coming of the ark of the lord.
Since the Hebrew had great ambition to hear the coming of the ark of the lord they shout without noticing it and made the uproar that have reached to the Philistines and they was curious to knew why the Hebrew shout. Their eagerness was arose too much since the coming of the ark of the lord was nought for them. They needed to now the secret behind the ark. It was that why the ask " what is all this shouting in the Hebrew camp ? ". They had no the same belief with the Hebrew so they didn't believe with the power of the ark of the lord and also it's protection. So they focus only on the sound that arose from the Hebrew camp and asks about the uproar not concerning the upcoming of the ark of the lord.
Therefore I have understood from the above article that what is acceptable for one group is nothing for the other. When people stand on the opposite edge of belief there will be a big differences in their mind. What is powerful and strong for one group is powerless and weak for the other one. This is for the reason that , mainly, human beings are very lazy and stick with their opinion without some sort of reasoning. They usually they lack willingness and don't think logically.
To be honest, i am not such a person who is very attached with religious materials. But i have a bit of reading habit and i have tried my best to explain my opinion in clear way.
