Verse 2 Corinthians 4.4 The God Of This A

Wylie Sheppard opinion on Verse 2 Corinthians 4.4 The God Of This A

The god of this age has blinded the unbelievers means that he makes them not see what is right. Paul tells the Corinthians that the gospel they preach is not veiled because they preach everything according to the truth. They bring out everything in black and white and reveal all that the people are supposed to know. To some however, it may appear like the gospel that Paul and his fellow apostles preach is wrong and not true and they are the one he says are entrusted to the ways of the earth. They serve gods who do not know or show them what path is right because they are just human like them. He says that they have confused the young age and made them believe that the earthly ways are the right ones to follow rather than their creator.

So they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ means that they oppose the true gospel. They are in opposition of the word that Jesus preached because Paul preaches and continues with the works of the Messiah. Their eyes are blind to the truth and all they see is that which of the darkness and is evil. What is not associated with God or Christ is for the darkness yet that is what they are after and abandon what will lead them to their creator. They think that their ways are the ones that are right while the apostles do not preach what is true yet they are very wrong and their judgement is misguided.

Who is the image of God means that Jesus is the likeness of the Most High who is the creator of all that is in existence. If Christ is in the likeness of God, it means that the word reflected in him is of the Lord. That is the gospel of truth that casts out demons and Judges humans with justice and gives them the path to their father in heaven. When one decides to be diffused by what is earthly, they do not obey the words of the true gospel because the earthly gospel deceives them. They are led into what is evil and made to believe that they are doing the right thing yet they are not and that separates them from God. The Most High gives freedom to those He created to choose what to follow and what to leave out.

Both the gospel of truth and the evil one, there are consequences or results of choices that one makes. When one allows themselves to be misguided, they must suffer the consequence of their choice. The people who choose to follow Godly ways receive eternal life and have a privilege to dwell by the side of their creator. Humans are supposed to ask God for wisdom so that they know what path is righteous so that they follow and avoid the wicked one. By doing so, it becomes hard for them to be blinded or misled by anything or anyone because God is always showing them the right way.
