Annabell Hutton opinion on Verse Deuteronomy 33.29 Blessed Are You,

A blessing gives hope and favor. There are two major types of blessings in life, from God the Father, and parents. Mankind makes every effort to attain both for a successful life. God has attributes that make Him bless his people, among them Omnipresent, cause of everything, etc. A parent can bless his children for free but God's blessing has a price. A human being is prone to error and that is why it's necessary to repent often. We should rely on His provision because it is sufficient. Always do good, show mercy to others, keep your mind clean from evil thinking so that God can purify you from the inside

WHY IS A BLESSING SO IMPORTANT? For survival and daily living its necessary to seek Our God for He gives material wealth and the TRINITY, something that no one on the planet can offer. We should call upon His name throughout, talk through prayers and most important believe in Him. Jesus Christ the son died on the cross for our sins, christian should have the desire to experience Him as the biggest blessing in the universe.

WHAT MADE GOD CHOOSE THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL? The bible indicates very well they were the descendants of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. . Through their faith and obedience the Israelite's were able to get God's opportunity to become model nation , unfortunately their sinful nature lead to severe punishment. God is a promise keeper, he was told his descendants would occupy the land of Canaan. The same word were repeated to his son Isaac and grandson Jacob. God's intention was to mould them to be a great nation that would serve Him in truth and in spirit. Other nations would emulate their deeds and get their blessings too.

GOD IS A SHIELD, HELPER SWORD, A shield is a defence mechanism, no external harm can befall anyone who trusts in the Lord. The word of God protects us from too many things , diseases, enemies attack, hunger, famine and many more. Let us take a look at some of the verses of the Bible that encourage us on this. Genesis 15:1, Proverbs 30:5, 28:7, psalms 28:7, 33:20, 84:11, 115:9, Call upon His name for redemption.

The word of God is alive, the Bible likens it to a sword because its able to modify people who have gone astray to return to the right way. That truth goes deep within them and they are able to realize His presence. He is able to read human mind, every intention either good or evil, in this case people are guided by the Holy spirit to change their evil ways and repent.

The Israelite's served their God in spirit, their enemies could mock them often asking them why the were worn out worshiping what they could not see. They had something in their hearts that drove them to overcome ill speaking, the promises made to them could not die in their minds. No physical harm, hunger struck them until they disobeyed God, However, the king of all glory always had mercy to restore them back to His ways.
