NIV Matthew 7.2

Verse Matthew 7.2

2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Verse Matthew 7.2 For In The Same W

Brycen Carr opinion on Verse Matthew 7.2 For In The Same W

I think that it is very clear what the verse says, 'Judge not and you shall not be judged'. We live in this world where Christians become judges thereby disobeying the very same bible they believe in. Christians, therefore, portray this image of Christ as a judgemental person that is so perfect in his own way that he thinks no one else can achieve his level of perfection.

Mahatma Gandhi once said that " I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians, your Christians are so unlike your Christ." This, coming from a Sanatani Hindu, calls out Christians from all corners of the planet. Jesus christ judged no one, he was pure and so were his disciples, but along the way, something went wrong and Christians reverted back to the 'before christ' era. In this era, even the teachers of God's law judged anybody who wasn't them.

It is so sad that Jesus christ struggled on the cross to prove that we should not be judged by the almighty God. Christians are doing the very same thing he fought against, he even died for it.

It is so sad that atheists are recognized by the kindness and acceptance of their actions while Christians are recognized by the judgemental attitudes they have, the cruelty they impose on people and the wine they drink instead of the water they preach.

The end of that verse, Matthew 7:2, simply put, means if you judge you will be judged. Galatians6:7 says " 7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows."(NIV). this verse just echoes what is said in Matthew 7:2. whatever will happen to all the bashful judgers out there will not be unfair, but it will be just. a man receives what he gives and that is what Jesus Christ was trying to tell all his followers.

I'm not blaming Christians entirely, non-Christians also have used this verse to make life harder for Christians and make them compromise on their beliefs and faith. Christ preached unconditional love not unconditional approval and therefore Christians must draw the line on approvals. Jesus did not prohibit judgement he said that it should be fair and rational. if Christians and the whole world, in general, abstained from judging unfairly, the world would be a beautiful place. this was the image Jesus Christ was trying to paint in our minds, a world fair and just, a part of heaven on earth.

My personal opinion on all this is we should all try and avoid bad karma attraction as Jesus said. we should love others and not judge them at any point. All of us ought to care about each other and this will evade unfair judgement. Learn to promote fairness and justice and equity as all religions have been trying to promote almost the same principles: love, fairness, equity , peace and harmony.

It's like so clear that humanity is one that even different religions with different gods are trying to highlight it. The fact that human beings cannot see it is so sad.let's learn to love one another as it is the root of all good.
