Psalm 147 verse 1 is all about praising the Almighty God. God deserves our praises at all time with no strings attached to it because He is the author and finisher of our faith. The beginning and the end, and He created all things but nothing created Him. Father God is worthy to be praised because if we should add, subtract, divide, multiply all His deeds to human being, there is nothing to use and pay Him back except praise and worship. This is because He owns everything be it materials things is riches or other wise. In fact if our body should be filled with mouths is not enough to thank God Almighty.

The Psalmist urges every one to praise God and not only praising orally but to use instruments like harp not forgetting to tell others what the Lord has done. In the bible, we are advised to always offer praise to God Almighty as one sacrifice through Jesus Christ which is the offering presented by lips to confess Him and Lord. The prophet Isaiah made us to know that praising God should not be for places near us that even people in distant or far away places should also be involved. This is because of what God has done, is doing and is still doing great and marvelous things.

Thankfulness goes hand in hand or together with praising. It made God to keep on increasing the numbers of the new converts or believers. Even the shepherds that went to worship Jesus Christ when He was born left the stable where He was laid singing praises to God for all they have heard and seen. What about Simeon and Anna, did they not praise and thank during presentation of Jesus Christ in the temple. When Jesus Christ was entering into Jerusalem, the large crowd of people stood on the road to thank.

And praise God in loud voices for all the great things that they had seen. Nature demands our giving praise, honor and thanksgiving to God because when we are embarrassed with blessings more than our humanly expectations, we don't have any other option than to do it. If they have in a very tight situation, been sick for a long time and have been meeting hitches, including ups and downs in our life endeavors. Any time we see a glimpse of light at the end of the tunnel is a little improvement from any of the afflicted area, we will flow with praises and thanksgiving.

We even do it to ordinary being like us in expectation for more things talk less of our father, who created us and said He knew us before we entered into our mother's womb, not forgetting that the thought He has for us is for good and not for and also to give us an expected end. When God fights our battles, uplifts us, blesses what ever we lay our hands on, there is no other payment due to Him than praise and thanksgiving, which always flows from our inner heart accompanied with joy and dancing
